WORKING TOWARDS YOUR PERSONAL CHALLENGE BADGE
your task for this half term is to obtain your Personal Challenge Award.

To do this, there are 2 CHALLENGES

CHALLENGE 1:
YOUR OWN PERSONAL CHALLENGE

You need to think of something to challenge yourself… whether that means to improve something that you currently do, or to pick a new challenge to start.

The rules are that it has to be a challenge.

Do not choose something that you already do.

So if you currently walk the dog, do not choose that as a challenge… however, if you only walk the dog one day a week, and will change that to 4 times a week… then that will count! If you choose the challenge to cook, but cook anyway, challenge yourself to cook and clean up afterwards or challenge yourself to complete a 3 course meal rather than one dish.

This challenge has to be carried out for the next 4 weeks… your challenge ends on Thursday 25th March and your Challenge sheet needs to be completed and emailed on Friday 26th March.

CHALLENGE 2:
OUR CHALLENGE TO YOU.

For those of you at the meeting on 10 May 2024, You took part in our challenge for you which was to sew on a badge.

Well done!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
