Q&A for Family & District camp

Q&A for Family & District camp

UPDATED 30 JUNE 2022 @ 09:39AM

We are located in the NORFOLK LODGE and the field behind it. You can see the lodge at the bottom end of the car park… so there would be a good place to park.

If it helps, the centre map can be found HERE

FRIDAY EVENING

BEAVERS, CUBS, SCOUTS AND EXPLORERS MUST ARRIVE IN UNIFORM
Arrive at 5pm

INFORMATION FOR INDOORS/OUTDOORS – LOAN OF TENT /OUTDOORS – OWN TENT (please refer to your email)

Dinner is being served on Friday night, and it will be served from 7pm.
The plan is that it will be a pasta dish.
—–

Ideally – it would be good to pitch tents first and eat afterwards…. that way light (and energy) will be on our side!

BRING AND SHARE
Don’t forget to ‘bring’ to share a dessert.

SATURDAY

  • 9:00am – First activity begins
  • 10:00-10:30am – Opening Ceremony (Dutch Barn)
  • 1pm to 2pm – lunch
  • 6pm to 7:30pm – dinner and group time
  • 7:30pm – skits by the Dutch barn – competition – show your talent! (not sure what a ‘skit’ is… see HERE) – all sections should take part, so it would be good to have a practice before 7:30pm – these only need to be 1-2 minutes long.
    SKIT THAT WE MIGHT DO
  • 8pm to 10pm – campfire (Beavers can leave early)

SUNDAY

  • 10AM – activities resume
  • 12:00pm – lunch & sections change – BEAVERS, CUBS, SCOUTS AND EXPLORERS MUST DEPART IN UNIFORM
  • 2pm – closing Ceremony (in uniform)
